"Yesterday we spotted a den way up in the mountains. There were 3 cubs in it. {The tour owner] has an order from the govv't to supply a family of cubs to the Chicago Zoo. Wo we were going to get them...So Hy went along with 4 natives. He got a sensational picture story - the first time a professional photographer ever had a crack at this type of thing. The mama bear was chased she did not charge so that she diddn't have to be shot. The cubs are cute as kittens only about the size of a medium dog (3 months old)."
